Interfanatic Digital Marketing with Web Site Maintenance & Design – WSmad is now Interfanatic!

The new name reflects the broader service menu available from WSmad, which now formally includes SEO, digital advertising, social media, social media advertising, localization, email marketing, reputation management. We still, of course design, maintain and manage websites for businesses all over the world.

“I felt it was time to change our name to reflect our broader services to our customer base, and to let them know we’re still the same Internet fanatics we’ve always been,” quipped founder and owner, Ryan Delane. “We’ve now been here almost 20 years, and we’ve been doing some of the broader digital marketing for some customers for a long time now. It’s time we let our name tell that story.”

Delane went on, “I got tired of customers asking me, ‘Wow, this is a great website! Now how do I get more traffic?’ We always have done what we can to get our customers traffic, but now it’s part of our business model.”

Web Site Maintenance & Design, LLC began business in 1999, designing, building and updating websites in Southern California. Soon, the small business had customers all over the world, including the Carroll Smith’s books, Rob Pelinka’s Landmark Sports Agency, Rockwell Medical Supplies, and Aero-Vac Alloys & Forge.

The same great, reliable and knowledgeable experts have built on what they know to now add these services and more to their repertoire.

Allen Berg Racing Schools Provide Formula Car Experience in Southern California

Tuesday, May 1st, 2012

There is great news for Formula Car racers and enthusiasts in Southern California. Allen Berg, ex-Formula One pilot, has brought advanced formula car training straight to Los Angeles at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.Allen Berg Formula One Racing School in Los Angeles

Before, Los Angelenos had to go to Infineon Raceway or Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to take part in an advanced racing course. Now Allen Berg offers an even higher quality of training through Allen Berg Racing Schools right here in LA, plus some perks.

To start, Allen’s cars are purpose built race cars, just as any other school’s. But far better yet, they’re all outfitted with full data telemetry and cameras. This means instead of depending on a students limited understanding, every issue of time lost can be seen objectively in black and white for immediate feedback. There is no greater tool for improvement. Couple the best technical data available for your driving with expert instruction from an ex-F1 driver, and you’ll be shaving chunks off your time.

This kind if experience can and does translate to any and every kind of competitive tarmac driving, from racing historic and semi-historic Grand Prix, Indy, and F5000 and Formula Vee cars to non-formula FIA, GTP, Can-Am, and even race-prepped street cars for autocross and rally.

Even better, Allen allows graduates of his programs to inexpensively rent time in his cars at the track to continue improving. It makes for a fantastic pre-season refresher, and you get the same data and analysis as you do during school.

We welcome Allen and his racing school to Los Angeles! What a fantastic addition to the racing regimen for competitive drivers and those seeking more safety through competence.

Sheri currently has about 100,000 sqft for sale around the South Bay, and about 75,000 sqft for lease.Sheri Messerlian offers the Thomas International Building - 32,000 sqft with huge frontage on Hawthorne Boulevard Torrance Recently, she’s leased over 62,000 feet and sold close to 40,000 sqft.

Among the more impressive properties that Sheri is brokering is 32,000 sqft of frontage on Hawthorne Boulevard near the intersection with Sepulveda. It’s a large retail space with a loading dock and more than ample parking. If you need something smaller, she’s leased spaces as small as 175 feet all the way up to the tens of thousands, and everything in between.

Perhaps the most impressive tell of her book is the demographics and the frontage she offers. She’s got a huge variety on offer for every budget.

Greater Hope Foundation Unveils New Logo and Colors to go with Fantastic Array of New Services for Children

Monday, January 30th, 2012

Greater Hope Foundation has a track record of being an incredibly successful Foster Family Agency operating in the high-need area of Barstow, California. Greater Hope Foundation puts children with loving families and gives those children a better chance for a more successful, happy life.

But recently, they’ve been growing. A lot.Greater Hope Foundation, Inc.

Greater Hope Foundation has unveiled its plans for Greater Hope Prep school, an innovative environment for young children to learn, explore, and be positively influenced. Also, last year Greater Hope Foundation launched a subsidiary business, All Clear Livescan, to assist and supplement their other businesses. All Clear Livescan is a service that fingerprints and uploads fingerprints for individuals requiring an “all clear”, whether it is to gain access to documents or to be allowed to be a foster parent.

These two services are in addition to the Foster Parent College, a training program for prospective foster parents, that Greater Hope Foundation has been working with for many years.

Most recently, Greater Hope Foundation announced it has the ability to support Supervised Visitations of non-custodial parents with their children.

After a call from a Greater Hope Foundation employee announcing that indeed Greater Hope Foundation would be able to expand its Foster Agency services into Riverside this year, GHF’s principle Helena Smith said, “I just keep getting good news” with a broad, bright smile indicative of all of the hard work that has gone into making all of this success possible.

To go along with all of the growth, the not-for-profit needed a facelift as its old monicker, Greater Hope Foundation for Children, was no longer reflective of all of the services the Foundation is engaged in. Thus, it is now Greater Hope Foundation, it has a new logo which WSmad designed and implemented on the site (which we originally designed and built), and we all decided it would be best to soften the blue of the site, which is now close to a “robin’s egg” blue.

The re-done site looks great and continues to perform extraordinarily well.

Congratulations from all of us at Web Site Maintenance And Design to everyone working their tails off at Greater Hope Foundation. We’re extremely pleased and very proud to be a small part of all that success.

Dead Web Sites Need A Recharge

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

You may not realize it but Web Sites can go bad, too. Just like a dying battery in a flashlight, if you don’t have a plan to keep your Web Site fresh your business may become hard to find on the Internet.

Google and the other Search Engines reward Web Sites that have new, relevant information on them and conversely, those that don’t can fall in Search Engine rankings – especially if the field is competitive. To give your site a competitive edge – not to mention let your existing and new customers know you’re still open for business – you have to have a plan to keep your Web Site recharged and bringing in traffic.

We’ve all been there: We’re trying to find that restaurant you went to clsoe to a year ago and we’ve been meaning to go back. Unfortunately, the restaurant opted for a cheap Flash-made Web Site and it hasn’t been updated in about three years, so we have no idea if they’re actually open for business. The phone number on the site is out of service, and so you find yourself on Yelp looking for a recent review when you find another restaurant getting great reviews.

What do you do?  Keep looking for the old restaurant or head to the new one?  Well, that depends on two things: 1) how much your stomach is growling are and 2) how much loyalty you have to the old restaurant.

If you’re so hungry you’re about to faint, you’ll probably go to the one you know will feed you.  If you have an immense loyalty built up to the old restaurant, you weren’t looking for it on the Net and if you were, you’ll probably try it again another day – but right now you need to fix your problem of being hungry.

Your business’ customers are the same way.  If your site is severely out of date, the new ones will pass you over and the old ones may be attracted to the shiny new place that looks like it has a lot going on.  Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t even want them to have a chance at thinking that!

Moreover, they may not even find your business on the Internet if Google is finding your competitors because they’ve been around as long as you have but they have more fresh information with relevant keywords presented on their site.

Yes, I’m the owner of Web Site Maintenance & Design and I make money updating Web Sites – but not much.  I price maintenance very competitively (it’s actually nearly a loss) to make sure that cost is not a deterrent for my existing customers – I want them updating their sites that badly!  It’s in their best interest, and I tell them that.  Often.

One way to make sure your site is updated often is to build a content management system (CMS) into your site.  That way, any time you have something to put on the Web Site, it’s an easy thing for you or a member of your staff to do.  If you’re interested in doing that with your Site, we’ve gotten very good at implementing CMS’s on existing sites (or making clean, fresh designs to work with).  Have a look at some of our WordPress implementations at www.matOrange.com, www.AllClearLivescan.com, some of our Joomla integrations at www.CooksDoorsAndWindows.com or www.TheLandmarkSportsAgency.com and some of our Magento e-Commerce CMS implementations at www.AbbracciStudio.com or the soon-to-be-launched www.RockwellMDsupply.com.

Any way you look at it, it’s hard to see in the dark with a dead flashlight.  Any way you look at it, it’s hard to be found of interest or even found on the Internet without a fresh, updated site.  Make a plan or give me a call today and we’ll make one for you!
