The Bitter Chef brings food and fun to Long Beach, CA

Chef Lord has created more than a few successful restaurants, and his latest creation brings the right kind of American Classic infused with modern Italian to really give Long Beach something fresh to eat.  And it’s GOOD.  He could probably charge twice as much for the dishes he’s perfected here, but he chooses to make the prices friendly to the economy because he has a big heart.  Yeah, right.  He just wants you in there eating his food regularly!

Join his mailing list so you can be notified of deals especially for your birthday or because or for that rare moment when he’s in a good mood.  We know Andrew, so we can jest about his sarcastic sense of humor – and a sense of humor is required for dining at The Bitter Chef, not just because the food is ridiculously good.  The atmosphere is all about good fun, and Yelpers are already proclaiming their affection for this new Long Beach gem of a diner.

Check out The Bitter Chef and his new Web Site, www.TheBitterChef.com today and head on down to LBC tonight for a breakfast, lunch, or dinner you won’t forget soon, but your pocketbook will.

The Greater Hope Foundation for Children Brings Foster Children to Good Homes Throughout California’s High Desert

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

The Greater Hope Foundation for Children is a phenomenal group of people that have come together for the good of children in need of love. GHF has offices in Victorville and Barstow serving the highest-need areas of California, putting children with loving homes.

Helena Smith came to WSmad with a need to take advantage of some great sponsorship from her friends at Google.  “I need to update my Web Site, it’s not bad but I know you can do much better.”  We’re pretty confident that we knocked it out of the park.  Not only is her new design engaging and gorgeous, but the site is much more functional, making the lives of the hard-working GHF staff easier amidst this difficult business.

“I need a way to engage the flood of users I’ll be getting from my sponsorship through Google – my current site won’t cut it.”  Message received, new site delivered.  We’re stoked to have been a part of their project – I think it’s fair to say that the whole team feels proud and gratified to have done something really good for this rapidly growing and intensely giving Foundation.

Have a look at their new Web Site at www.GreaterHopeFoundation.com, and become a part of the solution.

Rockwell Medical Supply, Inc.’s Web Site is Undergoing Massive Improvements

Wednesday, August 19th, 2009

Rockwell Medical Supply, Inc., of Carson, CA, is making life better for Doctors’ offices all over the country. We’re revamping their Web Site in a serious way so that it can help them serve their customers in a much more functional manner.

This is an exciting project for WSmad – just the kind of thing we like to do. Another company left the project unfinished and we are able to come in and help a good company get back on the road to success and ROI using the Internet. That’s our specialty!

It’s especially cool because Rockwell is a family-owned, customer service-based business, so it’s a perfect fit for us. We’re excited to help them out – can’t wait for it to be finished! Design is already under way…

Gianapoulos Eats Up MyLittleGreekBakery.com Baklava

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

“That’s the best baklava I’ve ever had!”, said Jim Gianapoulos, Chairman of the Board and President of 20th Century Fox Films after trying some of MyLittleGreekBakery.com‘s (of Christina Cole, in Torrance, CA) . And

Gianopoulos should know, as a second-generation Greek from New York, he’s gotten to try a lot of Baklava!

Gianopoulos’ assistant found MyLittleGreekBakery.com after searching for Greek Bakeries in Torrance California from his Chicago Office, and by special arrangement, picked up a try of Christina’s yummy baklava and tyropita. That just proves that WSmad’s SEO tactics work, even on our super-low budget projects designed to help our clients and friends get a solid start on their business.  It’s all about ROI, from day one.

These folks know their Greek food, and I wouldn’t want to talk to Mama Gianopoulos if word ever gets back, but we just hope she would be proud of the fine Greek tradition being celebrated and passed on by Cole and her family to our Southern California neighborhood.
Now, let it be said again that EVERYTHING Christina makes is phenomenal – from Greek traditional pastries like Baklava and Tyropita to her Magical Bars and Krispy Treats (and all the other stuff we’ve gotten to try!)  But when somebody like Gianopoulos, who grew up around fantastic Greek cooking and probably doesn’t spare expense to have the best available gives praise to Greek cooking, you have to take note.

We already knew it, but YOU GO, CHRISTINA!

Order up a plate from MyLittleGreekBakery.com before word gets around too much and she raises her prices!
